TAH feeling good

Hi i had a tah 18th Oct 1 week ago stopped in hospital 3 day's had 14 staples that i had out yesterday at the doctors feel really good so far the only thing i dont like is the breathless that i am having and through the night the hart beating fast . I am only 38 and had to have a hystorectomy due to me having really bad pains every month

Have you been checked for anemia? I have some of the same symptoms and it was due to blood loss anemia which is the leading reason for having the hysterectomy. You probably lost a lot of blood during surgery and are low on hemoglobin which produces oxygen and can cause the rapid heart rate and breathlessness. Mine dropped again during surgery as well and I'm on iron pills to raise my levels as well as a beta blocker to help my heart not work as hard. You should definitely talk to your doctor about it as if it got worse it can lead to more serious issues.

They did a bloody test for anemic the day i came out of hospital and said it came back ok also when the doctor came up the day after to see me he said that i didn't lose that much bloody thanks for the advice i will ring the doctors tomoz x
