Home and comfy!!!

Just wanted to let everyone know I'm home and well.Friday the 13th wasn't so bad after all. I did GREAT and am proud of myself.Trying to keep up the good attitude, I think it helps in recovery. Came home Sunday lunchtime and was glad to get home in my own bed, makes a big difference!! Everthing seems to be working just fine, had everything removed and woke up with an estrogen patch. I seem to be doing fine emotionally and physically. Only woke up once crying from a bad dream, blaming it on the vicodin, seems to do weird things!! Getting off that now and sticking with IB. I want to thank all my sisters for their support pre-op and wish all my post-op sisters the same success I've had. I know its still early in recovery, but know it can only get better from here!!

Good to hear!! Take it easy and be sure not to overdo just because you feel okay. Your symptoms can often be deceiving! I hope you recovery is complete and uneventful!!

I think attitude is huge, too. I'm trying really hard not to break my arm patting myself on the back I got home from the hospital yesterday, and really wanted to be back in my own bed. The expected problem was the stairway that lies between me and my bedroom on the 2nd story of our house. Piece of cake.

Hear - Hear! I am only 4 days ahead of you and I tried too much on Monday and paid for it on Tuesday.

Glad you are home! I had also my hys on October 13th! I came home on Saturday and feeling pretty good.
