Omg, did down there look different after surgery (maybe tmi)

I went to the bathroom today and took my hand held mirror to see if down there, my vajay jay looked any different after my TVH or not. Omg. It's looks so weird. I have pink nodule looking long things( about the length of a 2 rice grains) hanging out while I'm on the toilet. When I am standing up nothing is showing from the inside, but when I sit down and spread my legs and I see a disaster. I called my hubby upstairs to look at it and he was very kind as I did ask him if it looked like it used too and he said it looked a little different and the long nodule thing wasn't there before. I feel so upset and embarrassed. My husband wasn't complaining or anything, but I want things to be as normal as possible. I did have a vaginal hysterectomy so I did expect a little difference but not this drastic and weird looking. Nothing hurts or anything. It just does not look neat inside of there. Did anyone else have this change or notice it and if so did it get better?

In general I'd say things looked a little concerning at first. But, turned out it was all swelling or related to swelling, and eventually everything went back to looking like before. I hope that helps. (It took several weeks).

Did you have A&P repair or an episiotomy? I had both also and things looked a mess down there! Yesterday my stitches were really bothering me and today was the first day I've looked down there since a few days after surgery and things are FINALLY looking a bit more normal. I have stitches at the episiotomy and it looks like I have them going up IN me too. But the swelling has gone down dramatically. Have you tried putting an ice pack between your legs when in bed? that helped me a lot and it felt soooooooo good.
