Vaginal discharge

I had my supracervical laproscopic hysterectomy 4-6-2007 for uncontrollable and irregular bleeding. I am 39 yr old with no children due to Polycstic Ovary Disease. I am doing well but am having clear discharge like interstitual fluid. I just wondered how long this will last? Thank God for Prunes ! Kygrlmedic

I am glad you are doing well. I am not sure if you should be having the discharge, but I would give dr a call and see what he suggests.

Vaginal discharge

I went into surgery having had a significant discharge every day of my life from 11 years old, and all my doctors concluded with me it was hormonal. So I thought that after the initial post-op discharge I would be relatively dry. But even without a uterus or cervix, the vaginal has a natural lubrication, and I still notice a slight, clear, watery, relatively odorless discharge. When I was a week out from surgery, I still had a pinky, thicker discharge and I was told that it was normal. Then it became thinner and clear and I was told that this is normal. BUT if your discharge is profuse, smells, or if you just don't feel right about it, then I would contact my doctor.

Vaginal discharge

I unfortunately started having a nasty smelly discharge yesterday. Called the doctor about it today. Mine is also pretty clear. Maybe between off white and yellow when it's on the underwear. It only actually is bad enough to get on my underwear maybe a few times a day and it's usually worse in the evening. It's pretty runny but the kicker is the smell! It's pretty gross. I go in tomorrow at 11:00 to get it checked out. I don't have a fever (only 99.0) so I'm hoping it won't be an infection. Anyone have an infection with no fever?

Vaginal discharge

My Dr knows he said that is is normal but I just wondered if anyone had it and how long it last. No smell,no fever. It is just fluid from the abdomen. Thanks, Kygrlmedic

I had some kind of discharge for about 6 weeks, and then have not had anything since.
