Finally a Princess!!!!!

I'm home! What an experience. I feel better than I thought I would. Very similar to my c-sections. My DH has my private room all set up for me and since the vicodin is starting to kick in I'm going to go take full advantage of all my princess training!!!!

More when I wake up........

Teresa....

Welcome Home Teresa...

Glad that all went well...

So it's alot like your c/sections were...? The reason I'm asking is that I go into the castle on July 15th to have a TAH/BSO done..and I myself had my children c/sections also..and I sure know what it felt like after having my children...the first few days were very gasy..but after that was a piece of cake... heck after having my first son on the 19/12/81...I was up doing the c/section dance at New Years...( just a little humor there..sure you can relate..lol)

All the Best in YOUR Recovery... s...Sue...

Finally a Princess!!!!!

Welcome home! Now be a good princess and remember your training: rest, drink lots of water, rest, take short walks around the house, and rest.

We’ll look for your castle story on the “Princesses Tell Their Stories” forum, and further recovery updates on the PostOp forum.

Best wishes for a smooth, uneventful recovery.

Finally a Princess!!!!!

littledarlin -

Yeah it is lot like my c sections. Same cut, same tenderness. My staples came out this morning - 12 of them. The pathology report also came back this morning. All was benign. When they got in they couldn't find the fibroid but they did find that my left ovary had a cyst on it. Both ovaries were adhesed to my tubes (tubal ligation) and my bladder was adhesed to my uterus. I wasn't able to pass gas until today and now I feel much better. Sorry ladies!

Surgery took 5 hours which had DH very worried but all is well now. He's now reading "Bearing the Big H" book I bought here. He said, "you didn't tell me it was funny".

Will write more and read more when I can sit up for longer periods. Oh, I read somewhere on hear about the shoulder pain after general anesthesia. I'm glad I had read that. I never had that before. It felt like a pinched nerve but because of my sisters I knew it would go away!
