Thank you. I am on my bowel prep and crying because my favorite niece-more my sister than my niece is having her baby TONIGHT! We are very close-she even lived with us for a while in her college years helping me with my oldest son. We are each others guardian picks. Seriously-this TOTALLY sucks.

I'm so sorry you're missing the birth of your niece's baby, that truly does suck. I'm sure that she knows you'd be there if you could, but those little ones come when they want to, without any concern for our schedules.

Will you be going to the same hospital as your niece is in? Some hospitals put the GYN patients on the maternity ward. Maybe you could ask to be roommates? If not maybe you could get wheeled down to her room to visit her and see the wee one.

Zanne, Good luck to you on Thursday. I'll be praying for you. I'm very nervous right now, even with having taken an Ativan. In the back of my mind is how I'm going to handle having to give up my undies (LOL). Once we're both on the other side, we'll have to compare underwear stories.
