TVH: surgery question

I have insurance that has a very cool program that allows you to download and watch your procedure online...it's all done thru drawings and animation but it walks you thru the whole thing...very cool.

I was just curious about being put in stirrups ....how do your legs stay in place if your out cold from the anesthesia?? I know when I go in for my annual exam I have to keep my legs up ....how does this work in surgery??

Good question! I assumed that there was some support under my knees--but when I was put to sleep my legs were not in stirrups at all. They saved all that for after I was asleep

Ok...that's what I thought.....they just prop you up how they need too after your out.
