Odd new feeling down there
Not concerned but just doing the "hmmmmm......" right now. It started yesterday. My whole external vaginal area (not the labia and such.....the outer outer areas between my legs) going all the way from front to back near my butt feels very sore and "full", almost like its bruised. Of course I checked with a mirror and there are no bruises, no bumps, thought maybe an infected hair from the shave (nope), just very odd..... Thoughts? Been there done that? Nothing serious and not going to let it ruin the day just very odd.....
thanks

Odd new feeling down there
I have noticed that each new day brings new and different pains. I spoke to my Dr and he said that as your nerves that have been cut wake up they send signals to your brain and these can be missinterpreted and you will get all sorts of wierd pains. I have also felt this fullness in the vaginal exterior area the last couple of days usually when I stand up and walk. It doesnt happen all the time just sometimes. I have also been having sharp shooting pains in all sorts of wierd places. I think it is all part of the healing process particularly in week three. Hopefully it will get better over the next week.

Odd new feeling down there
Could it be from wearing a pad. For some reason, residual insanity, I guess. I wore a pad when I went out the other day. I completely irritated myself down there.
Even underwear is making me chafe. Am considering burning all panties with the tampon/pad bonfire.Well maybe I will keep thongs....

Odd new feeling down there
Hi mskayjay,
Hummm, I don't know lol, but I have noticed as Giskard said, EVERYDAY now is bringing on a new set of feelings. I have noticed the past couple days I get the weirdest aches and pains..anything from a dull ache to a sudden sharp shooting pains. Each time I think..."oh no is this a complication happening?", but it stops again for awhile until anothe one hits......so I would say it's nerves waking up down there.
Good luck and remember this too, shall pass.

Odd new feeling down there
I don't know. I'm only 3 days out from tvh, tvt and a&p repairs. I haven't looked with mirror yet, and can't see that far because of my belly, but it "feels" different. I'm thinking it's from the a&p.
I was hoping the repairs would tighten things up a bit down there and so far it sems that way...

Odd new feeling down there
You know I used to get those before I had surgery. I never found out what caused it but it sure is irritating and painful. I used to get them before I had my period so maybe it has to do with your usual time of the month before surgery. It sure is weird though huh?

Odd new feeling down there
I have too experienced weird pains coming and going .. not only in the abdominal area. Could it be lack of occupation and things to do? I am serious. If we were allowed to go on with our lives, may be we would manage to ignore the pain?

Odd new feeling down there
K -
Not sure what that could be but have yet to be surprised at what is connected to my healing that I wouldn't think should be.
This sounds alot like the pain I used to get in the few months pre-op right before my period. I used to figure my fibroids and 'cycle weight' were pressing on something just enough to bother the nerves there.
Hope your feeling better,
Julie

Oh those lovely shooting pains out of no where! Gotta love 'em. Every now and then I'll spout an eek, hubby thinks I'm nutz. Oh well. What else is new hehe.
Leans in closer to whisper: I have yet to tell him I really am nutz. ~Anju
