will i ever feel well again
i am 8 weeks post op tah/bso, and i am still having problems.
my fatigue lasts all day and right at this precise moment i still feel that i am cycling, this is not possible, i have nothing left.
i have acne and the pms symptoms i had before apart from the period pain, how can this be.
i am on 2mg estrogen and have been since before my surgery, so its not that.
i just feel sooooo bad all the time and i wish that i never had this done

I'm so sorry you're not feeling great, Andrea.
Have you spoken to your doctor? I wonder if they can readjust, maybe raise, your estrogen.

will i ever feel well again
Hang in there, it does get better. Just very, very slooooowly. I don't know about the ovaries issue as I kept mine. I'll be 7 months post op on the 30th & I'm still not all better. It does get better with each week. I still am fatigued by 3 pm I need a nap, but of course can't take one. My (what I assume is) ovaries and/or tubes still hurt constantly. But it's not enough to require taking any pain reliever most of the time. I'm in the process of moving, so naturally I'm overdoing things. But I still started packing about 3 months ago because I knew I would be slow at it. I still get pangs of pain at the incision site too. I've just accepted the fact that they meant it when they said 6-12 month recovery & hope someday I'll be back to my normal self.
Rest as much as you can & you should still be taking it easy at this point, no bending down to the floor chores.

Give yourself time!!!!!!! You will feel better.
As far as feeling like you are on a cycle again, in a way you are. Your body still has stored hormones. Keep in touch with your dr. You will find the right combination to make you feel better.
As far as the tired feeling, that too will take some time.
I think it was by about month 4 that I started needing less and less naps. I am now at 11 months and only rarely need a nap. Its hard to tell if I am tired from that or all the running around I can now do without the dreaded Aunt Flo and her evil twin sisters Pain and Agony.
Hang in there!

I had my hyst 2 weeks ago and am on 2mg estrogen. i don't think you should still be that tired. i have had another friend who had a hyst say that at her what would be time of the month she still feels like that. maybe ask for a blood test to check your hormone levels. maybe you need more than estrogen. it's worth a phone call to the doc to ask.

Andrea, yes please give it time. I was shuffling around quite a bit after surgery and ALWAYS resting. It's okay, you are a princess.

thanks to all of you, i feel that i am the only one who feels like this, i know i am not, but i cant seem to think rationally.
i would love to get a decent nights sleep, and i worry that the constant lightheadedness i have had since surgery is here to stay for good, but my doc says that it is due to the fatigue and the op, i hope hes right
