need some help

Thank you all who responded to my previous post about pain after first post hyst sex - things really did improve, but am still concerned. I don't have actual pain now unless DH penetrates too deeply - the it really Hurts! I imagine it's probably the vaginal cuff that is still sore. DH is very supportive and concerned about hurting me. I am relieved that the TAH has not affected my libido or ability to lubricate naturally, but I feel sore afterwards, and have increasedpain in the abdomen the next day. I know this is probably normal at this stage, but what I really want to know is whatis the "norm"? Some sisters wrote that they were fine at 6 or 8 weeks , and one wrote she still has pain with deeper penetration at 15 weeks. I'm really worried. How many out there are more like me? And when does the discomfort pass from being "normal" to being a problem? Would reallylike to hear from everyone. to everyone !!

Hi!

It really does vary since we don't all heal at the same rate. If you are experiencing pain, of course you'll want to ask your dh to be more careful and gentle. In time you should be okay. Let your doctor know about the pain and swelling to see what is suggested, too. It's never a bad idea to check with the doctor if things don't seem quite right.

I'm sending s!
