Pre-op

Hi Everyone,

I would like to ask a crazy and somewhat embarrassing question. Has anyone had sex with their husband the night before the surgery? I would like to but wandering if its a good idea right before surgery.

Re: Pre-op

I remember asking my doctor that question at my pre-op and he told me it was ok. However, some doctors tell their patients to abstain the night before so it's best to give your doctor a call just to make sure.

Re: Pre-op

Hello ladies

Yes I did the last " hurrah" the night before surgery. My Dr didnt tell me anything to the contrary. Besides all the other stuff you go through with removal... I didnt have any problems after surgery because of it and my thoughts were on the lines of "ok just in-case I can't have another 'O' again"LOL . Silly I AM!!! But hey its my 6 weeks and I go to the Dr in 2 days for the last check up and I am expecting him to say, "all clear" . My only problem has be resting...doing too much, too early and expecting that I should be. Please take the FULL 6 weeks rest. I still am recovering but because I didn't rest the way I was supposed to!

All the best
