Uterine Fibroids Minimal Invasive Procedures?

I recently came across information my doctor that the medical companies are working on various minimal invasive procedures. I really hope there are released for clinical use very soon.
My clinician said about one of the exciting procedure about shrinking the fibroids through the vagina with Radio Frequency waves which necroses the fibroids without affecting the surrounding tissues and this is a day care procedure and no need of any general anaesthesia. I am hopeful this comes as soon to the hospital so that can avoid surgery related complications.
