If you have an ostomy (the stump on your stomach) and a bag, I'm assuming that the surgeon did a colostomy: deattached your colon from your bowels in order to get all the endo out.
What you need to find out is, does the surgeon plan to do a second surgery to reattach the colon to the bowels? This can't done until you've healed sufficiently from the first surgery. The NHS in the UK says you need to wait *at least* 12 weeks.
