I am afraid I may have another infection starting

On one side of the incision I have some redness and it just looks different...kinda bumpy, I am not sure how else to describe it. I will call the dr office tomorrow and see if I can go in.

I think it's wise to see the dr. It sounds like normal healing, but I know from experience that infection can take hold in short order. Best to have him/her check on that soon.

The dr will not be open until tuesday. Visiting nurse came today and said I have something called tunneling, where the wound is getting deeper instead of shrinking. I have to use a heating pad on it and take aspirin for the inflamation until I can see the dr next week.
