Feeling almost back to normal....

Im 20 days Post-Op and feeling great....Is this normal? I really dont want any set backs....my doctor told me to take it easy for four more weeks but I have three kids and its hard to just relax....and when is okay to have a glass of wine?

I'm glad you're feeling so good! I remember feeling pretty normal, pretty quickly after my TVH. For me, it was a good thing and a bad thing. I felt good enough to do more, but had to remind myself that I was still healing.

As for when you can have a glass of wine? The best thing to do is give your doctor a call to to make sure it's ok for you to have wine. Don't drink any if you're still taking pain meds though.

You're still early in your recovery, so take care of yourself and follow your doctor's instructions. I know it's hard to relax when you feel good, but if you do too much, too soon, you could set your recovery back. Remember that there's still a lot of healing to do internally.
