Does auntie flo pain happen to u before she comes?

I am about 2 wks from her visit and I am having pains like she is coming tomorrow. Do any of you have your pains start this early? My surgery is May 24 and I will start a little before it. I wanted to ask!

Oh yeah, she always announces her visit way, way ahead of time. I usually just get over my period & about a week, week & a half later, it starts all up again.

That's how it is for me too! My husband says I only get a couple of days a month without my period or period symptoms. I'll get cramps about 2 wks prior to it actually starting and I'll say to my husband "Ooowww, I'm having cramps" and he'll say "Didn't you just have your period?" I spend a week looking at the toilet paper believing I'm going to start bleeding sooner than I'm supposed to.

All this has only been for the past couple of years, not all my years of having a period, thankfully.

I can't wait to stop this insanity...I'm waiting for the confirmation by tomorrow of my surgery date on May 19th!!!!

Take care, Lovely

pain

Hi

My name is Kim and yes I have this problem with her 2 wks before she comes. I cramp and then I feel sick too. I have to use a heating pad during that time and then again on the next 10 days. I know the feeling and it hurts and I be glad when I don't have to go through this. I wonder why this happens. My guess is it is Endo but we never know what it could be. I hope that you feel better and I will be praying for all of us. I was scheduled for the 10th of May for a hyster but now they bumped me for the 17th I want it now and get it over with now I am having the pain again and Mother nature will be here while I have my surgery. Good Luck to you and if you ever want to talk I am here

Love Kim

Does auntie flo pain happen to u before she comes?

When I was young, I got no warning. After I had kids, I'd get a little bloody "show" as a warning flag. Lately, 13 years after the last kid, I get a sharp cervical pain almost a week or more before. I do have the largest of multiple fibroids growing IN my cervix, so that pain makes alot of sense. (Why would a fibroid grow in the cervix?) Jeez Louise, why do fibroids grow at all?

On the bright side, in recent years my periods have lasted one day. But on that one day I absolutely have to be within sprinting distance of the bathroom. I can't go anywhere, and I wear 2-3 super plus tampons at a time (yes, it can be done) and a huge pad. I sit on old towels, and always check my seat for blood when I stand up.

aunt flo

i thought i was the only one, i mean it feels like she's coming to visit 3 weeks a month and it's like ben franklin used to say "visitors(aunt flo) like fish start to go bad after 3 days" anyway he said something like that.

I cramp 3 weeks out of every month if not all month long. It's worse the week of ovulation and the week before.. then of course the week of "the visit" is always a bear. The week after I don't have as much cramping as I am just worn out from loss of blood and sleep from hurting. My bleeding has gotten heavier and heavier and more huge clots as time goes on I'm so glad this visit from AF will be my last. Less than a month to wait until I'm off to the castle. Hang in there. (hugs)

To all you LIW - I am now 6 months post op and had all the same symptoms every month - hubby would look at me as if I was making it up - but ... look on the bright side ... soon you will be pain free and stain free like me - truly ladies, you won't know yourselves after your surgery - please just stay positive and you will emerge a true princess - good luck and feel free to send me a private message any time you need some support from someone who has "been there - done that" - Sharon xx
