feeling gulity

Hello ladies just wanted to ask if anyone else has felt gulity about not waiting for the doctors ok before having sex? I have waited six weeks but just couldn't wait any longer. Had very slow careful sex last night. No problems but now I feel gulity for not waiting till next week when I see the doctor.

We are still waiting and will until my appointment on the 22nd. My DH is only home a few nights a week as he drives truck. Lately when he is home and we are cuddling in bed I want so bad to in. He won't tho because he has been so worried about me. Even thinking about having sex without the Dr.s ok makes me feel guilty.

Guilt does serve a good purpose..........it's not a bad thing.

Even though 6 weeks is enough time for complete healing of the vaginal cuff for most women, you can never be certain. That healing can only be confirmed by a visual check during a pelvic exam.

It's great that you are even feeling like having sex. You must be feeling very well at this point. That is fabulous!

Dang, I'm such a chicken. I'm gonna wait. Besides my hubby will not do it until I get the ok.
at least you waited 6 weeks. You'll probably be fine. I'm glad things went well.

Glad you are feeling well! Let's hope you were all healed and all is well. But, since you did have intercourse before you were released, you need to call your dr and confess, and ask what signs to watch for that may indicate a problem, i.e. discharge, bleeding, cramping, fever, etc. You could be at risk for an infection if your body was not healed completely.

My doctor told me before the surgery to wait 5 weeks for intercourse. You waited beyond that, and if you've had no problems from it, it's probably fine.
