16 weeks and a little problem?

Michele, sorry to hear of the prolapses.

I had some discouraging news from another sister who had prolapse repair. her doctor (who obviously talks more than mine) told her that she would never be able to do any exercises that puts pressure on the abdomen. that sure makes sense.

Actually, since my surgery, I have known this intuitively (sp?) but didn't want to think about it or acknowledge it. I am just saying for me, of course, not everyone. I really can't say for everyone. but I am thinking that for myself, knowing what is going on with me right now, that in reality, I should not pressure myself any longer and just back out of the whole Curves thing. I really can't see continuing, when I would only be able to use just a few of the machines? Oh, I don't know.

As you may see, I am so discouaged right now. I feel that not having this site before my surgery and listening to a doctor (male) of course. I just didn't have the info I needed and not even the questions to ask. I know I did the right thing having the surgery, but sure feel that I wasn't prepared for the aftermath at all!

I think that I have not felt so discouraged through out this whole time as I do right now! And I still feel the pressure tonight, belly swollen some, and that little bit of swelling 'just inside'

Thanks for listening ladies.
Stephanie

16 weeks and a little problem?

Michelle,

I am so sorry to read your news. Honestly, it scares the heck out of me!

I am still swollen today and am having intermitant sharp pains in my abdomen and am having occaisional sharp pains in my vaginal cuff. I guess I'll keep an eye on it for the next few days and hope for the best.
