Did anyone get small sharp pains in head after surgery?

Is this due to the pain meds or lingering anastesia???? I am 4 days post op and about 5 or 6 times a day I get a small sharp pain run through the back of my head. Just in one small area. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Nothing real major, just a little annoying

Yes, the headache could be due to the anesthesia.
You don't have in your profile what type of surgery you had. If you could update that the sisters could better answer your questions.

You can do that by clicking where it says "PROFILE" at the top of the page just below the blue bar.

If you are using HRT patches, it can cause you to have a headache too.

I would give the doctor a call to be sure!
