constipation

I've never been regular...once a week maybe, whether I needed to or not. But I was doing well with shredded wheat, too.
I still have a heavy feeling, and I am back to hit or miss.
My husband enmjoys the scatological also. For some reason, I always do it when he says 'Pull my finger'.

I took Senokot 2 days after being discharged from the hospital because I also had not had a BM because I was so plugged up due to the drugs while I was in the hospital. The Senekot caused so much pain for me and the doctor told me it is a laxative to use months after you have completely recovered from surgery

The doctor told me if the stool stoftners did not work to try the mirlax that is why I got it. stool softners work for awhile but nothing now. I feel like a big gas bubble that wont move .. IM miserable .

I have to agree with the drinking of the prune juice. It is not something I looked forward to tasting but I drank it every morning religously with my breakfast and never had a problem nor did I have to take anything like Colace or Senocot. Hope this helps

Walmart has a Sams brand apple juice with added fiber that has the same fiber as prune juice. There's also plum juice... a little better. And WARM is better........
