6 weeks today: Climara 0.1 patch ~ anyone else?

Alright ladies, I have to give words of encouragment, things do get better. I was 6 weeks yesterday and had my checkup today. I had a LAVH performed on October 8th. I got the all clear to have intercourse again. I am also trying a new hormone therapy. I have been taking 2 mg of Estrace everyday but my dr. put me on the Climara 0.1 mg patch today. I am getting ready to take a bath and then put the patch on. Has anyone tried this patch. i would like to know more about it. My vaginal exam wasn't bad today so I'm thinking sex won't be back either. I just got home from work and my 3 year old is in bed asleep and hubby is waiting in bed. I know what he wants, he has been patient with me during the time before my hyst and recovery so its only reasonable that we try intercourse tonight. So wish me luck. I'll let you guys know how it goes tomorrow. Pleease let me know about the patch anyone. Love and luck to you all, Candi

I'm so glad to hear your check-up went well and hope your return to intimacy was a positive one.

I don't have any experience of the patch but hope that any who do will be along soon to share. In the meantime, it may help you to try a Google Search of HysterSisters (towards the top right of every page) to read of other experiences.

Sending all good wishes!
