Who's coming up in December?

A "Coming Out" party sounds great!! Or maybe we could have a "Coronation Ball" !!: I don't know what I would do without this site and you sisters. I learn new things about my procedure--TAH/BSO-- everyday. I think my doctor was amazed at the questions I had for him. I also told him to recommend this site to his hyst patients!! I will pray that all of us will come out of this misery and be healthier and happier for all of our trouble.

Hi:

I'm having my TOTAL HYST. abdominal Decemberf 26th at 8:30 AM...Like the rest of you I"m scared stiff...However I got my PERIOD this morning and I HATE it, I get awful cramps, I get dizzy, feel sick to my stomach and wish I would just throw up, however my abitiliy to throw up is GONE..I had stomach surgery last year and no longer can throw up which is a big concern of mine with this coming up...

I wish everyone luck, it will be ok for all of us...

I'm having my SAH on December 5. and am starting to get aprehensive but i will be crowned for christmas. will be saying a prayer for all of you sisters

December 17th for me...I'll have the grades entered into the computer, the sub is arranged for the rest of the semester and the beginning of next, and I can relax knowing that someone else is dealing with the "darlings" I plan to have a restful christmas, with DD and DH waiting on me hand and foot. Santa brought us a new dvd player with surround sound, so there'll be little need for lme to move from my royal couch.

I hope all goes well for you...I'm going Dec 26th...Are they doing a complete (taking everything)...I want to keep my overaries, but he told me NO..I'm 43 and my Aunt and my grandmother both have Overan Cancer so he thinks it best to take them...Plus I only have 1/2 of my right one...I have BAD periods, I have had 5 cysts removed in 10 years, etc, etc...Like you I'm scared out of my pants, everyday I chance my mind if I will or won't go through with this...Time will tell when it gets closer...I just don't want the HOT FLAHSES and all that goes with it...

I will keep you in my prayers...

WOW 20 more days to go!! And yes I am counting. I waited way to long to hear those words from my doc, TVH.
Just wondering how the 3 of you ladies are dealing with the waiting game? I know if it was for me volunteering at my childrens school I'd be going nuts
My DH is taking the Thanksgiving Holiday off so that we can go out of town.
I have made me a list of 13 things to do each day starting on the 1st to help ease my mind. Not to mention with the holidays coming up there is the decorating, shopping, and church and school event to keep me "PLENTY BUSY".

If I have to I plan to use NHRT and a progestron cream.
I have heard so much "GOOD" about these that me and my DH decided to go this route!!

I am scheduled for 12/10 at 7:30 am. I have found a wealth of information here that I wouldn't be able to get anywhere else. I would be so much more nervous if it wasn't for this site! I am having TAH/BSO. I'm getting a nervous about it all lately, but I'm much more nervous about getting everything at work and home done before this.

I hope all goes well for you. We'll all be recovering together!!
