I'm Home!!

Not ready to do any dancing yet, but arrived home on Wed. 2 days post op. Am feeling better each day. Am extremely tired as I know that I should be. Right now I feel like a tire that has to much air and would just like to find the valve stem and release some of this air. Ahhhhh what a relief that will be. All for now, must rest....

Welcome home! Now be a good princess and remember your training: rest, drink lots of water, rest, take short walks around the house, and rest.

I am so glad I found your post! I was just looking at some of my old posts and saw that your surgery date had just went by. I wondered how you were doing. And then I find this post! Cool.

So glad it is over for you. REST. Get into some dumb TV show. I became a WEST WING fan during my recovery.

Thank you for all your support the last few weeks. You were all so informative. I told my doctor, the pre-op people, the nurses that took care of me, anyone that would listen about this great site and they should recommend it to anyone that is having or has had a hysterectomy of any kind. Right now the gas pains are my worst nightmare, if it weren't for them I would feel great. My incision looks wonderful. At least that is what all the men say....they said the scar would be minimal...like I will be wearing a bikini again in this life......Off to walk a little and then back down to rest.....
