LAVH 6 weeks and some pain, tiredness.

hi, this is my six weeks and i am still having some pain. and i noticed some weakness,nerve pain. my prescribed nerontin for the nerve pain. it seems to help some. but as for my other pain around pelvic area and the weakness its still there. also i noticed when i walk i have lower back pain. can someone anyone give me some sugguestions. i will be greatly apperciated.

I had some pain like you are describing until I was a little over 2 months post op. Some of us just take a little longer to feel normal. I still took advantage of times to rest, took ibuprofen, and used my heating pad at 9 weeks. I get frustrated sometimes when the answer is "just be patient" so if it's ok with your doc, you might want to try things like hot baths, acupuncture, or therapeutic massage.

i couldn't do the hot baths because of the hormone patch. but i have been taking ibuphofen and been resting. i am having pain issues . any other sugguestons. that will be wonderful.
