Prayers Please

Just to add to the drama around here, my surgery is Wed., my mother just got here (thank goodness), and my DH has been running a high temperature for the past 2 days. He has gone to the doctor. I am staying away from him. I just hope and pray I don't get whatever it is he has. <<What else>>

Take care of yourself!!! Let your mom deal with your sick husband. Make sure that she washes her hands a lot! You, too.

Believe me. I can relate. My three little girls all got lice when I was only 9 days post-op! They all have long hair so shampooing them was really difficult. We had to use a special pesticide shampoo on the girls (the process takes about 1 hour each for shampooing and combing) and DH had to do laundry, vacuum floors and beds, and remake the beds before putting the kids into bed. We found out at 4pm and were still working until 1am. The cleaning process had to be continued for a week and re-shampooing a week later as well. Needless, to say I was hurting and could barely walk. Emotionally and physically I was a wreck!

Do your best to take care of yourself. You can always take charge for things from the resting position on your couch!!!!!
