Tightness & spasms

Hi all,

I am 11 days post opp and have a feeling of tightness just above my pubic bone and also feel like something is spasming. Is this normal?

I felt like that last week (surgery 4/26/05); I thought for sure something was wrong, but I posted here and learned it is part of the healing. Some ladies have more problems by week 3 or 4 than in the beginning. Just take it real easy; relax, feet up, and when you walk; do it very slowly. That seemed to help me. This week, I feel much better and trying not to overdo.

After reading the two above posts.....tomarrow i'll be at 4 weeks post op.....and i have been having these wierd spasms internally on the lower left side at night when i go to bed....they make me jump sky high and i hope its not tearing any internal stiches

Anyone know more about this?
