Bra during surgery

I have a crazy question, I have been getting a lot of laughs because of this. Am I able to wear my bra during surgery?? I'm big busted and am worried about them being in my throat because I will be tilted during DvH.

Someone had mentioned this as a tip prior to my surgery....but I ran out of time to get a sports type bra to wear.
I am big chested and had no issues during or after the surgery no bra. I don't think it is something you need to worry too much about.

I would ask your doctor before you go through all the expense if you don't have sports bras. It would be horrible if they made you take it off anyway.

I had the Da Vinci on Tuesday, and I am big busted too. I couldn't wear anything but the gown they gave me.

I was told to take everything off. So I did not wear a bra at all. Although I did buy a sports bar for afterwards

Nope. Just hospital gown. But you can wear socks! (Recommend non skid so they double as slippers).
I had abdominal and a sports bra post surgery would never have worked for me as i have to stretch and tug to pull them over my head...mail though i have been bra-less for 3 weeks now ... I would recommend a front fastening bra

Thank you ladies for your responses. I think with surgery being so close, my mind is going crazy with thoughts and worries.

My mind was going crazy as well as the surgery date drew near. Although all the planning, cooking and cleaning really did make a difference for my family and I. Good Luck with your surgery!
