what about douches the morning of?
We were talking about bowel prep.
But, what about the morning of.
I was told to use 2 medicated douches the morning of when I get my shower.
Anyone else?????
PS: I am having a LAVH

what about douches the morning of?
For bowel prep I did 2 fleet enemas the night before and didn't eat after 12 (I think) the day before.
I went in for surgery for 9 am the next morning. No vaginal douche.
I am not sure why you would need to douche in your case.

I was given an enema at the hospital the morning of my surgery. The nurse also gave me a douche to do myself - thank goodness 
It's to help prevent the kill germs and minimize possible infections.

what about douches the morning of?
The nurses had me give myself a betadyne douche the morning of surgery. All I can say is that it was very brown... and very cold.  But it wasn't painful or unpleasant.
