I am having a hard time finding a happy medium

I had my hysterectomy on 1/18. Uterus removed, Cervix removed, and overies stayed. Everything was going good emotionally until last week. All of a sudden for the past week I have been overly sensitive crying and getting my feelings hurt over the dumbest things. I get mad very easily over stupid stuff, and then I am calm and just fine. I am so sick of the constant emotional roller coaster. Please tell me that this will stop soon. I was supposed to follow up with my doctor tomorrow but I rescheduled to thursday because I have the stomach bug (my kids had it over the weekend and I woke up this morning with it). I did not want to carry my germs into the office and get the staff sick as well as the other patients. I plan on bringing this up to him. Any advice on what to do in the mean time?? I have a feeling it is my "surgical menopause" kicking in because I get hot flashes quite often.

Mine lasted about a week or so. I was so insecure and crying over the silliest things as well as getting my feeling hurt so easy. But one day I woke up and I didn't cry all day. I hope it is gone for good because it was very hard to deal with. But it did go away. I was lucky it didn't last too long for me. I do not know what amount of time in normal for this to continue, but I feel your pain. I was an emotional wreck and it was absolutely no fun.
