did something silly

I was feeling good today. 3 weeks post-op. I decided to wash a few items by hand. One light sweater I was washing in the pail in the sink, I must have got carried away and was sloshing it up and down in the soapy water, when suddenly I felt pain . I think the resistance of the wool sweater in the water put strain on my belly without my realising it until it was too late. It's a tiny light sweater, but anyway, I have been really sore ever since. Please don't do this - I am paying the price. I have not done any laundry whatsoever in the machine, so that I would not hurt myself, but this caught me out. We live and learn. Take care. anne

Funny how it only takes one leeetle oops to send us back to the couch.
