Post-Laproscopic Bleeding (after vaginal cuff repair)

Hi there. I am almost 3 weeks out. Had brownish light bleeding for the first 2 weeks then last Friday around 5pm it was heavier and bright red. By 7pm it was very heavy with large clots. I called the Dr. and by 8pm I was in the ER and they resealed the vaginal cuff and I had to be admitted to the hospital over night so they could keep an eye on it. The bleeding stopped so they sent me home the next day. I'm still having a little bleeding when I pee, it's red but not heavy. Should I be worried? Today is Tuesday and I have my post-op appt. with my surgeon on Friday, am hoping I can hold off on calling the Dr. before then. Is this normal?

Call and talk to the nurse at your docs office. Just to be on the safe side.
