Lost and Confused.......Question about using ovaries with a surrogate

Hello I had my hystorectomy divinchi style about 1 year ago. The doctors left my ovaries as I was only 32 at the time. My question is, I can still feel myself ovulating each month.... So my issue is that my husband and I were not able to concieve the natural way however if I am in fact still ovulating am I able to have a surrogate at this stage in the game?? I am so lost and my heart just aches at the thought of having a child its something that my hubby and I really wanted since we met 13 yrs ago. Any help would be great but has anyone heard of this happening before??

Re: Lost and Confused.......Question about using ovaries with a surrogate

I have my post op this week and the ovulation this is something I was going to discuss. I imagine if you have your ovaries, your eggs could theoretically be harvested and used for a surrogate pregnancy. I wish you the best in reaching your goal!

From what i have been told yes you can use a surrogate. As long as you have eggs and they are good you should be able to do so. Buy none the less ask your
Doc.
