The nurse would not give me anything to sleep as it would be addictive. I am going back to see doc on Mon if no better by then...I just can not go on like this. I'm on premarin and feel that is affecting the situation.
Hope we all get better longer sleep soon X
I'm so sorry you're going through this difficult time, sometimes it just seems like we have too much thrown on our plate at once, and it sounds like you are at that place. I've dealt with worries over my child in the past (23 years old now) and can relate.....their pain is our pain.....I heard a quote once "You're only as happy as your saddest child"....it is SO true.

Can you take anything over the counter for sleep? This has been a problem for me since surgery as well, I can't imagine if this was happening when I was dealing with my troubled teen!

pm me if you ever need an ear........hang in there.....

I am not against the use of Ambien by any means. It is jusy something for me. I work in the pharmaceutical world and sometime I know to much!!

I prefer a more natural approach personally. Plus I take enough medication as is.

I was on it for 20 days and I haven't had any withdrawl symptoms or anything from it. I do miss having it to take cuz that was the best sleep I have had in a long time. I used to take Lunesta a few years ago for the same issues, not being able to sleep. I can't wait to get some more and get some good sleep. I can't function when I don't get enough sleep!
