Re: Tired

The fatigue sticks with you for months. This is totally normal. Rest when you can, and don't push yourself through the exhaustion if you don't need to.

Hang in there. It gets better!

Re: Tired

I am having the same trouble. I m tired on top of my being tired. I m going in for blood work Doc thinks my estrogen levels are screwed up even though I still have my ovaries. Have severe bouts of being dizzy ( almost passing out), unable to sleep, hot /cold flashes, severe fatigue and irritability( which isn't me I m usually very patient and laid back) . This sucks

Re: Tired

Hi there! Fatigue is a friend that will stick around for a bit until your body gets used to the additional activity. If there is a couch or somewhere you can take a cat nap during the day, it might help. When I had gone back to work, I started off part-time at a desk job and by the end of those 4 hours, I got home and fell into bed for a long nap. I did manage to go full-time the following week and the fatigue did not seem as bad, although I still needed a nap as soon as I got home. It did get better each week. The time frame in which it goes away differs for each of us. Here is an HS article - Fighting Fatigue .

If after 6 months you are feeling fatigued more than you think you should be, talk to your doc since something else could be off.

Re: Tired

What's going on is that you're 7 weeks post op .

A friend of mine gave me a heads up that I'd probably hit fatigue walls well after I thought I was back to normal, and boy she wasn't kidding! It was still affecting me after my 3rd month.
