2 days post hysterectomy-belly sore & lots of swelling

I am super sore in my belly area and have lots of swelling in my legs to my tummy. How is everyone else feeling?

The first week for me was rough. I felt like I'd been hit by a truck and I slept a lot. I took my pain meds around the clock or the pain was too great. It's good to stay ahead of the pain rather than wait until it really hurts. The swelling is normal - I looked 7 months pregnant for a few weeks, but it gradually got better.

For now: rest, drink lots of water, rest, walk as tolerated, rest, and eat well. And most important:

Thank you so much i was panicking a bit but i found alot of women are having same problems as myself guess just gonna be time.

It's 4 days since my surgery and my belly has gone gone a lot , I looked 8 months pregnant first 2 days. It is still swollen and I still have a lot of gas. As soon as I eat my stomache hurts and I'm burping. I find that I'm not sleeping good at night and I wake up everyone morning with a headache.... I have to keep telling myself it only 4 days.....
