Tub Bath Question
Does anyone know if there is something you can add to bath water like bubbles or oils that will not irritate or cause infections? I'm ok'd for tub baths but feel a little raw inside and was afraid of problems. I'm very ready for a nice relaxing bath. Thanks for any help.

Tub Bath Question
Cindy,
I had one bath before my doctor and I realized I had a problem with my cuff, but I added a cup of epsom salt to my water to soften it. Doctor didn't have a problem with that.
I want another bath sooo bad. I don't like showering. Enjoy your bath! I lighted a candle that night, too. It was heaven.

Tub Bath Question
My dr. said I could tub bathe after my 2 week check, but no hot tubs for 4 weeks. It seems each dr. has different orders.

Tub Bath Question
My doc said ok for tub bath at 2 week checkup but not to put anything in it and not to soak too long like become a prune and she said to make sure it was a clean tub. First few hurt a little...maybe too much getting in and out but now I love them and they do not increase my pain...they feel great! I am 5 weeks.
I feel for those who have to wait and want too so bad. This too shall pass...

Tub Bath Question
M doc said absolutely no baths for 6 weeks. BUT, he wasn't so much worried about infection as the danger involved getting in and out of the tub.
