thanks for the encouragement and the reminders. olliecat feel free to pm and we'll compare notes. had not anticipated the extended reign at the castle, but dh is my super hero taking care of everything. we had a snow storm causing power outages, I was stuck in electric recliner, so he went and bought a generator...it was either that or have the rescue squad come and extract me....i did not want to become on of "those" stories around "scanner land"...funny how the home improvement store also sells personal dignity...

i hope all of you ladies in waiting find the peace you need on this journey...and you never have to even think about the rescue squad extracting you from your chair.

Bright-eyes. The last sentence gave me the giggles. Being 2 weeks away I needed that. My recliner does not have an arm activater it is a push model and I have had some fear about using it. My DH and I have been practicing how he can help me up and down, (((gently))) LOL

I am glad you are home after your lengthy reign. Now take it easy and rest, rest ,rest.

Brighteyes,
WELCOME HOME!!! I am so glad that you posted, I wondered how you were. I am glad you made it home and hope the weather doesn't slow your recovery too much.
I appreciated your story, my dad owned an ambulance for several years and I love the scanner stories!! Glad your DH set you free without the squad!
