3 month mark

Hey sisters. Yesterday was my 3 month mark!!! I'm now having worse night sweats and Hot flashes! Have a new Dr appointment because the obgyn that did my surgery ignored my concerns. Had to stop my HRT patches because they had no affect. No telling what my levels are. endometriosis is still present and in so much pain! I'm so miserable and regret my hysterectomy. Don't meant to rant but misery isn't doing any good lol

How do you know endometriosis is still present? Did your doctor tell you he had not removed all of it? If you know endometriosis remains and is causing pain, then a doctor may not want to prescribe HRT as it could cause the endo to become even more painful.

If you are not using any HRT, then that could explain your pain, hot flashes, and night sweats. All of those can be symptoms of menopause. It can takes weeks to know if HRT is effective or not, so if you started and already discontinued patches since your hysterectomy, your body may not have had enough time to adjust. HRT requires a lot of patients and trial and error--frustrating to say the least!

I hope your upcoming appointment goes well. It could be helpful for both you and the new doctor if you would keep a symptom diary as you wait for that appointment.
