Mid back pain

I had the CISH procedure on 1/26 due to severe endometriosis. I had the uterus and both ovaries with tubes removed and the cervix cored out. Before surgery I had a lot of lower back pain - I assume from the endo. However, the last 2 weeks I've been having a lot of mid back pain. It gets so bad while walking or standing that it seems to burn. Has anyone else had this type of pain and if so, how did you deal with it?

I have had back pain for years so I don't think it is the same but when I have middle of the back pain I was told it is actually coming from my neck which is where I have 3 herniated discs. I have been having a lot of lower back and muscle spasms lately which I think is from sitting and laying down a lot. Hope this has helped and feel better soon. Best wishes.

I wish I could give you more help... but my experience with back pain is that changing positions offers the most help -- and when sleeping, being on my side seems to be best.

If you continue to have this pain, I'd discuss it with your doctor. Could be that you were compensating pre-op and now your "other" pain could be making itself known.
