Total hysterectomy (kept ovaries) 2015 feel like I'm going crazy!!

Can anyone who's had a hysterecomy tell me if they've had labs done and what there numbers are??? I'm losing my hair feel like I'm going bald, don't sleep well at night, never want to have sex. Went to my obgyn and she thinks it more the stressors on my life (kids, hubby, dumb as alcoholic ex husband) she said my labs were normal but I'm just not sure. My free testosterone was 1.2, estridoil 65.7 and progesterone 4.5 (which she's right if I'm in a certain phase in my cycle but how would you know without a period). I called today to see if they would rerun the tests since the first ones were done on the 2nd day of the month and now we're in the middle to see if there still normal and the nurse made me feel like an ***. I'm getting frustrated and depressed. Hoping if some of you guys had your labs done it would make me feel better about my numbers

If you still have your ovaries you might still be ovulating. That makes a big difference on what your numbers should be. You can find out by tracking your basal body temperature, also with ovulation predictor kits. i track mine and I'm still ovulating, I'm 46, and had my hysterectomy 15 months ago. To get an accurate picture of estrogen and progesterone, you need to test 7 days past ovulation (if still ovulating). I felt terrible too, and started on testosterone cream and bi-estrogen, it has helped a lot. Im using BHRT.

Do you know what the ranges are? Different labs use different ones, so that makes a difference. My testosterone was very low. Yours sounds low, but it depends on the ranges.

If your ranges are the same as mine, optimal for free testosterone is 2.1-3.2. I order my own labs online. It could also be your thyroid or adrenals, have you ever had those tested?

My free testosterone was 1.2 and because I have thin hair my doc said adding more could make things worse (didn't really understand all that honestly) I just had some more labs ran yesterday repeat hormone ones and dhea and dhea sulfate alone with CBC, iron, TIBC, vitamins d and b12, cortisol, and I believe androgen. Results still pending
