Reflections 4 mo. Post Op

In my body and connected within, my past had manifested as sin.
A sacred place where the energy flows, now blocked with nowhere to go.
As time passed on and tests revealed true, the alien inside of me grew.
Not to worry as life goes on, a second opinion wanted it gone.
My health and well being we're dis-eased, the alternative practice of Frankincense oil did not please.
As the alien fed on my source of life, my health deteriorated with only one choice to go under the knife.
As I lay there awaiting my time, my partner stood by me, holding my hand, he told me he loved me and was my biggest fan!
In my body and battling the fear, the vulnerability was very clear.
Hooked to life lines, I lay on a table naked for all to view, my mind racing in prayer to my god to be true.
Awakening from a dark place I had never been, I was reassured it was not cancer within.
I smiled with ease as my love stood near, why was I still battling the fear?

So, I can continue on to share my views, sounding like I'm singing the blues; or my message can be received with love, enduring what comes our way and rise above.

There is no right or wrong to process it in your own way, it's only my story for the day

All women endure forms of pain, with a message and lesson to be used as a gain, believe and know you are a women who is WHOLE, because no matter what, you will always have your BODY, MIND & SOUL! ((Hugs))

This post is lovely and uplifting. Thank you! It is a good reminder of the feelings this journey has unleashed. Wish I had the gift of writing eloquently as you do!
