The drainage tube is in...

Well, went in this morning to have the drainage tube put in my stomach. The procedure did not take long, lots of needles. The one bad thing is the bag is HUGE. Seriously, it goes down to my knee. So glad I saw who I really needed to see for work on Monday and Tuesday, now all the rest of the work is paperwork this week.

Not sure how long it will be in. It just stinks that it is so bulky. I am already up to 40 cc's in the bag. Lovely.

This, too, shall pass. The drainage will now come out faster, allowing you much lower risk of infection and other complications. I hope all this is nothing but a memory for you......and soon...........Deb
