Bladder pressure/discomfort

Hi!
I had a LVAH removal of cervix & uterus on Oct 7. I will be 6 weeks post op tomorrow. Things have been going pretty good & then about 4 days ago I noticed a bit of pressure and then 2 bladder spasm that just about sent me through the roof. Since then I have almost a constant feeling of pressure. It does not hurt when I urinate, I just feel like the bladder hurts, not bad ,just irritating. Can you have a bladder infection w/out pain during urination? Just curious if anyone else has experienced this. I've been trying to keep an eye on this and toughing it out for a few days, because w/ everything else in this recovery little aches and pains come and go on a daily basis. This has not gotten better. I drink tons of water and started cranberry juice. Ironically this is around the same time that my cramps and spotting ended. Anyone? Thanks!

Re: Bladder pressure/discomfort

Yes you can I had that. I thought there was nothing wrong. I thought it was part of the healing process. I ended up with an infection and on 2 antibiotics.

So please get it checked out quick pee in the bottle.

I hope that you dont and it is just something else. but I would get it checked the Dr said an infection can turn to a kidney infection in no time.

I am swollen and feel pressure too ...My va gee gee does not feel well and I am getting so tired of it - I started with meds last wednesday, got a little better but by monday felt the same way again.
