I just got notified that I do not meet medicad's disability medical
eligibility criteria. Because I have obesity, diabetes, incontinence and precancer does not prevent me from working at a light duty or a sedentary job. That is a bunch of bs. I work part time with about 22-23 hrs aweek and trying to figure out how to pay for
surgery when I need it.i will tell my doctor about this maybe he can help me to appeal this decision. They also suggested that I
might benefit fron Vocational Rehabilitation Services for what
I do not know,to pay for my surgery?

dont give up

the squeaky wheel gets the grease, a law I live by and its true. IF you raise enuf hell you will get your way most times. I have been turned down many times and have spent many hours on the phone getting to the "bottom" of things. Dont be afraid to demand !!! Health is worth the fight.

Voc. Rehab. has been known to pay for surgery in some states (thought that is absolutely all I know about it). You hang in there and keep squeaking!
