Surgery in the morning at 7:15 a.m.

Well, I've read and studied. I've prayed and cried. I've almost backed out, but now have peace that I need to show up tomorrow for my surgery. I appreciate all the notes on this board...old and new. Thank you for your prayers.

Re: Surgery in the morning at 7:15 a.m.

I was the same way I was scared to death, I have never had surgery in my life, but the everyone was so nice and anesthesia was so nice to me, they made me dopey while wheeling me to the OR and then put me out and I woke up in the recovery room and it was over, you do have some pain of course but the pain meds work even though I opted to go without them but you dont have to, so dont be scared if I can do it anyone can, I even have an anxiety disorder and I was fine

Good luck! I have done the same as you -prayed, read, cried -go in on Fri. 1:00. Ready for it to be over with so I can start recovery. Got quite emotional today. I hope to hear that you are doing well and resting...I hope to be posting the same in a couple of days!
