HI all. I have been home since Saturday, but have not felt like posting until now. I had a rough time of it. The MD found more extensive damage than he thought and the surgery took longer. I did get to keep my ovaries though. I had problems with the pain meds and my catheter. I had it taken out and reensertered 3 timess in the hosp. I was in 4 days. I had to revisit the hospital emergency room at day 7 because I had not had a bowel movement. That was awful. I then developed a raging bladder infection the day the catheter was removed. It is just clearing up. Please tell me I will still be glad I had this done. Sorry to emote so much but I think the bad stories need to be told too. Yhanks all.

Kelle, sorry to hear you had some problems. Hopefully they are all in the past now and everything will be smooth from here on out.

Keep your chin up. I am sure it will be worth it in the long run. Keep us posted on your continued recovery.
