Joanring, I don't get night sweats every night...just the nights where I have a glass of wine before going to bed!!! However, I feel like someone turned my internal thermometer up. I feel warmer than usual and am now sleeping above the covers. It is taking DH and I some time to figure out our 'new' sleeping arrangements LOL.

As for having discharge, I only had some spotting for two or three days, but I kept my cervix and the dr. cauterized it as well. I have read of people on this board who had discharge for over six weeks. I guess we are all different.

did you have your ovaries removed? if so, you might be going though a lot of hormonal changes/surgical menopause. if you kept your ovaries, you still might be going through hormonal changes while they adjust and start working again. i kept mine and had hot flashes/sweats for about 2 weeks until my ovaries kicked in. . i'm sure the discharge is normal as long as it isnt a strange color or have an odor.

Joanring,

I had my hysterectomy 3 weeks ago and a bladder injury and, I too, have HORRIBLE night sweats. I still have my ovaries. I've been told it can tak 3-6 months for your body to get back to normal and that it's a natural reaction, for some of us, to have these night sweats.

I have not found a way to get rid of them, yet (even if I keep the house cold and turn my family into ice cubes). When I go for a follow-up on Monday it is one of my questions for her. I'll let you know what she says....

Hi SSSRandall
Thank you for your reply
This morning I went to my local doctor she advised I get a hormonal blood test done and see it its menapause, if its not she will do some more test to see why.
I also sent away a sample of uring to see if I have a bladder infection if its not she will do a swab I will let you know as I am not getting the blood test done till next Tuesday.
till then take care hope you have some luck with your appointment.
Cheers
