Swelly Belly

Hey sisters!

Does anybody have any idea how long the "swelly belly" sticks around? I'm almost six weeks out and I've noticed that mine still seems to be swelled a bit.

Well, I hate to break it to you, but there are some of us sisters out here that are 6 months + post-op and we still have the swelly belly!

Here's a link to a thread about 6 month+ swelly belly:

Swelly Belly

I try to lay out flat every afternoon for about 45 min. and that seems to be keeping the swelly belly at bay. If I miss the lay down, then I puff up pretty good by evening.

Sheesh....I don't need any extra puffiness in that area! I try to take a break every hour or so and just sit down for a bit...seems like it's okay of a morning and then as the day goes along... I go back for my post-op on Friday so I guess it's back to work on Monday!

I'm afraid it's a case of "how long is a piece of string ..."

Try a 'forum search' on the subject ... you'll probably find enough posts to keep you going until it finally disappears!

Good luck ...

Swelly Belly

I had my surgery in Aoril 2006 and it took 3-4 months to get back to normal.
Don't worry....
