Have a lump at one end of my Scar 10 days post op

Hi I had my stitches out on 29th following a TAH, so dressing etc all now gone. Have noticed that parts of my scar feel a little lumpy and that towards one end there is a lump which is quite tender when pressed. This side hurts more when I try to get up from lying down. Is this normal or should I get it checked out? Thank you in advance x

I had this too. I went to the doctor and she said it was just the muscles knitting back together. It has gone down now.

I had/have it too. Mine was like a line of rope under the skin and I could feel a lump either end when I lay on my side. Dr said it was the stitches underneath the skin stitches(didn't know I had that). 9 weeks now and the lumpiness is much diminished. Of course get your doc's advice if you are concerned, and definitely if your lumps are accompanied by swelling/heat and a fever get it checked out.
