Small red bump at vaginal opening post hysterectomy

I just noticed today that I have a small red bump at the opening of my vagina. It does not hurt but I am very concerned as to what this is. Calling my doctor on Monday to get an appt.

, dear sister, and for calling your doc with your question. In my experience--which may not be yours--sometimes an inflamed hair follicle can cause this, or even a little cyst. I went to the doctor today and I guess this is just a benign cyst that had already been there and is nothing to worry about. Not sure why my doctor never mentioned it to me.
